We established Long Mountain Shoot over 25 years ago and the three shoots now cover some 9,000 acres. All the natural assets of this beautiful area have been harnessed to provide some of the finest pheasant shooting this country has to offer. Each shoot has it's own unique character and is professionally managed by a team of dedicated keepers to ensure a superb day's shooting for our guests. Skillful management on the day produces exceptionally high birds in really challenging conditions.
Above all we aim to give our guests a day of pure enjoyment - new friends made and good sport enjoyed. Generous hospitality and good-natured banter are all part of the package with Long Mountain Shoot.
Whilst 400 bird days are available and coporate entertainment is a speciality, excellent shooting is also available to both groups and single guns seeking 150 or more bird days. Likewise we enjoy having family parties and are only too happy to encourage the youngsters to participate.
Our own trained gun dogs retrieve the game but guests are welcome to bring their own dogs to retrieve if they wish. We also have excellent contacts for purchasing trained gun dogs.
Guns and cartridges can be provided, as well as permits for overseas visitors.
